Registration & Reporting - Incoming Document Search Portal

This search portal shows incoming submissions for the petroleum storage tank or industrial and hazardous waste registration programs that the TCEQ Office of Waste's Registration and Reporting Section has had mailed or faxed to them.

Search Instructions

In the “TCEQ Program” filter, click on the drop-down and select the program for your submission (PST or IHW REG).
For updates to existing registrations:
  • Click on the drop-down under “Registration Number”.
  •  In the search field at the top of the filter, enter your 5-digit facility ID or registration number. See how to find your registration number or facility ID.
  • If we have received a submission for that registration number, the number you entered should appear under the search field. Click on the number to view the search results.
For initial registrations or unregistered episodic notifications:

  • In the search field at the top of the filter, enter all or part of the site or facility name.
  • If we have received a submission for that name, the name you entered should appear under the search field. Click on the name to view the search results.
Note: To search for another submission, you can clear the filters by clicking “Clear All” to the left of the filters. You can also reset an individual filter by clicking “Reset” at the bottom of the filter drop-down.

Processing Time & Status

The Registration and Reporting Section strives to process administratively complete submissions within the following approximate timeframes:
  • PST expired renewals: ~ 1-3 business days.
  • PST renewals expiring this month: ~ 3-7 business days.
  • PST renewals expiring during the next two months: ~ 10-20 business days.
  • PST updates not associated with renewals: ~ 8-15 business days.
  • IHW initial registrations and episodic notifications: ~ 5-7 business days.
  •  IHW updates: ~ 20 business days.
For IHW registration submissions, you will also be able to determine if the section has processed the submission. The “Status” column in the table below will reflect one of the following statuses:
  • Received: This status indicates that the Registration and Reporting Section has received the submission. Submissions may have a “Received” status for up to 5 business days.
  • Under Review: This status indicates that Registration and Reporting Section staff have begun review and processing of the submission.
  • Completed: This status indicates that Registration and Reporting Section staff have completed processing of the update.

Finding Your Registration Number

If you don’t know your registration number, you can find it using one of the following methods:
  • For PST facilities, look on your delivery certificate. You should see “Facility Number” with 7 digits after it. Your facility number is the number without any leading zeros.
  • For IHW sites, look on your notice of registration. Find the “Solid Waste Registration Number” at the top of the first page.
  • Both PST and IHW facilities/sites can find their registration number by searching Central Registry by the facility/site address.
